Immigration law is an area of law that relates to the ways in which citizens of foreign nations come to the U.S. to live and work. Naturalization law governs the process by which persons can become U.S. citizens.

There are various options for people to come to the U.S. to visit or work, and with that there are eligibility and paperwork requirements, as well as issues that can arise with every type of immigration case.

Similarly there are various ways a person can become a citizen of the United States.  Again, there are eligibility criteria, documentary requirements, and potential issues which can arise in each case.
